Video marketing is an essential ingredient for any network marketer and essentially anyone that is looking to grow their business online. The great thing about it is, you can pretty much get going with this almost for Free, depending on whether you have a video cam or not. There are also great screen capture tools that are available for free, such as jingproject.com.
When YouTube was founded in 2005, it was initially considered to be a social networking site, where people could find music videos and clips from television shows and movies. But, many people saw the potential for free advertising by creating videos about their companies or products, and submitting them to YouTube. In fact, this is a great form of advertising for small and large businesses alike.
You Tube has over 100 million viewers now and there?s over 15 billion videos being viewed each month online, not just on You Tube but across all of the video hosting sites. So that is a massive market that you only need a tiny percentage of in your particular niche to be seeing your videos. On top of that, Google loves video.
Google actually bought You Tube so when you?re looking at indexing and ranking on keywords you?ll see that videos not only rate very highly in the search engines and particularly on Google, but they also have a little picture or thumbnail that goes alongside the video which is highly enticing for people to click on.
Just think about it. You have a great product to offer. You create your own video, which won?t cost you a thing if you already own a video camera, which highlights your product. Tape someone actually using your product, and enjoying it. Just like any commercial, right? Sort of, but commercials are incredibly expensive, and this is free! Just remember, try to make your video/commercial creative, something that people will want to watch. You will be in competition with millions of other businesses worldwide, so you want yours to stand out.
Submitting a video to YouTube is easy. All you have to do is create the video, download it to your computer, and upload it to YouTube (make sure you put it into the right category). Don?t worry, you will be guided step-by-step until your upload is completed. Don?t forget to place the right keywords in your tag field. Make sure you use your keywords in the heading as well as the description and tags. Using proper keywords is a great SEO (Search Engine Optimization) technique, and your video description will be more likely to be picked up by Google and other searches.
Here?s one of the really great advantages to having your videos on YouTube: you have the option of embedding them into your web pages, blog or even and sharing it on Facebook. This helps you to get more eyeballs on your content.
When it comes to quality, time is of the essence. Try to keep your videos under ten minutes. The shorter the video, the higher quality it will be, which will make it more enjoyable for viewers to watch.
If you want to get people to watch your video, go and watch other similar videos. You can leave comments about them, and add that there is another video with other information the viewer may be interested in. Once people start checking out your video, they will make comments, and hopefully, it will snowball from there.
It?s very important to include a call to action on your videos. You can do this by leaving a credit at the end of the video or just requesting people to subscribe or click on a link to a blog or capture page. The sky is the limit in where you can direct them too. It?s amazing how much of a difference that giving people a general command can have. If you give them a command, a large % of people who would NOT have taken action will?just because you prompted them to.
Most of all in your video?s be authentic, share your story, people want to know about you and who you are. Don?t be afraid to put yourself out there as people will appreciate you for it.
